Rebecca began her career in industrial sales, specializing in large integrated security systems. Working for multinational corporations like Diebold and Honeywell, she honed her sales and leadership skills and advanced in the security industry as a National Account Manager, overseeing sales and installation crews across the county for clients including Disney and Motorola.

Several years later, Rebecca seized an opportunity to follow a life-long passion for jewelry and gemstones by joining the Diamond Council of America, a jewelry industry trade association specializing in sales education. In 2022, she joined Omi Privé, a luxury colored gemstone company in Los Angeles, as their Director of Sales and Development. This move allowed Rebecca to combine her passions for fine jewelry and sales, working with clients across the country to increase their sales and team skills.

Understanding the Roles They Play in Your Sales Team

Every successful sales team is built on three essential functions: acquiring new customers, developing relationships, and retaining and growing existing clients. This interactive session examines the function of these three roles within a sales environment and their different contributions to overall business performance.
Attendees will explore how customer acquisition, relationship development, and client retention strategies vary in practice. The session will also cover different approaches to clienteling and marketing and their direct influence on the effectiveness and outcomes of each of these roles.
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to identify these roles within their own teams and build a clear strategy to ensure each function is working together to consistently drive and sustain business growth.

About us

The Atlanta Jewelry Show was founded on a simple but powerful idea ...
A trade show should serve the people who make it possible.

From its earliest days, the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, set out to create a show where every decision would contribute to the shared success of jewelers, manufacturers, and sales professionals across the Southeast. It was built not as a commercial enterprise, but as a community investment in the future of the jewelry industry.
