This session explores how a structured, intentional onboarding process improves new hire retention, accelerates productivity, and strengthens organizational culture. In high-turnover environments like retail, effective onboarding is a critical business function that directly impacts performance and employee engagement. In order to be successful, new hires transitioning from familiar environments into new systems, expectations, and relationships need a well-designed onboarding experience that reduces uncertainty, builds confidence, and enables faster assimilation.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to understand the business impact of effective onboarding, identify the key phases of onboarding, and apply practical strategies to improve retention and engagement.
