This session explores how high-performing stores build stronger businesses and stronger relationships by focusing on profit, trust, and loyalty from every customer, not just their biggest sales.

We'll examine how to actively protect (and build) profit through smart pricing, with actionable tips you can implement now, while building trust through communication, service, and salesmanship. Your shop can define your reputation as your community's trusted jeweler, and this session captures how to capitalize through sales, marketing, and finance alike.

Learn how to navigate the highly emotional world of repairs and custom and drive profit from the shop, because you may just find your next VIP client from a simple sizing.

About Jonathan Geller

As a 15th generation jeweler, owner of Geller Blue Book, and recent MBA graduate from Emory University, Jonathan Geller is carrying forward the legacy established by industry pioneer David Geller while building the next chapter of the business. Geller Blue Book is the industry’s only comprehensive pricing resource for jewelry repair and custom design, helping jewelers simplify pricing, improve margins, and build customer trust. His focus is practical and direct: turn the bench from a loss leader into a reliable profit center, one clearly defined SKU at a time.

He also serves as President and CEO of D. Geller & Son in Atlanta, where he has led the creation and refinement of operational systems across sales, marketing, management, and accounting. His work centers on disciplined growth, consistent execution, and a clear standard of customer experience, ensuring that every department contributes to long-term strength and profitability.

Before entering the family business full time, he served four years in the United States Army’s 4th Infantry Division. A Distinguished Military Graduate of the University of North Georgia, he led as an Infantry Platoon Leader and later as a Headquarters Company Executive Officer at Fort Carson, Colorado. In those roles, he trained and led soldiers, managed large-scale equipment accountability, and was responsible for mission readiness across multiple units. His military background continues to inform his leadership approach, grounded in accountability, preparation, and service.

Driven by leadership, community, and high standards, he brings a rare combination of heritage, operational discipline, and modern business thinking to the jewelry industry.

About us

The Atlanta Jewelry Show was founded on a simple but powerful idea ...
A trade show should serve the people who make it possible.

From its earliest days, the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, set out to create a show where every decision would contribute to the shared success of jewelers, manufacturers, and sales professionals across the Southeast. It was built not as a commercial enterprise, but as a community investment in the future of the jewelry industry.
